How do I sell my IT equipment to DAM Tech?
Simply reach out via email or phone with a description of your items — including brand, model, specs, quantity, and condition. We'll respond with a competitive quote within one business day. If you're happy with the offer, we'll arrange collection or shipping at no cost to you for bulk lots.
What condition does equipment need to be in for you to buy it?
We accept equipment in a range of conditions — A-grade (like new), B-grade (minor cosmetic wear), and C-grade (functional but cosmetically impaired). We also consider non-functional items in some cases, particularly for spare parts. Just be upfront about the condition and we'll advise accordingly.
Is the equipment you sell tested and reliable?
Yes. Every item sold by DAM Tech goes through a functional testing process before listing. We clearly grade our stock so you know exactly what you're purchasing. If an item doesn't meet our quality threshold, it simply won't be listed for sale.
Do you wipe data from devices before reselling?
Absolutely. Data security is a priority for us and our customers. All storage devices — including hard drives, SSDs, and any machine with onboard storage — are securely wiped using industry-standard processes before resale. We recommend sellers also wipe devices prior to sending them to us as an additional precaution.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship to all states and territories across Australia. Shipping costs and estimated timeframes are confirmed at the time of purchase. For large or fragile items such as servers, we use specialist freight carriers to ensure safe and secure delivery.
Can businesses purchase on account or invoice?
Yes. We're happy to work with registered Australian businesses on invoiced terms. Please contact us directly to discuss arrangements. All invoices include GST and comply with ATO tax invoice requirements.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFT (bank transfer)/Wire payment as our primary payment method for both buying and selling transactions. For certain purchases, alternative methods may be arranged — please enquire when placing your order.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Selected items carry a 30 to 90-day return-to-base warranty depending on the product category and condition grade. All products sold by DAM Tech are covered under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights to a remedy if an item is not of acceptable quality.
Can I request a specific item that's not currently in stock?
Yes! We regularly source specific items on request. If you're looking for a particular model, specification, or bulk quantity that isn't currently listed, get in touch and we'll do our best to locate and supply it for you.
Are you GST registered?
DAM Tech Pty Ltd is GST registered. A valid tax invoice including GST will be issued for all purchases. For B2B transactions, please provide your ABN at the time of ordering.
